Does the State of Georgia embed RFID chips into Drivers licenses? I am not concerned about the RFID being in there that much right now. However, I am debating on getting a wallet with a built in Faraday cage in order to eliminate RFID transmissions from my wallet. As to microwaving it, if they have placed a RFID chip in the card, then it is most likely illegal to destroy or damage that chip on purpose.

Resolved Question: Is the Federal gov't trying to put small farmers and ranchers out of business? If so, what are they up to?

The EPA wants a methane tax on every head of livestock over a certain number, For cattle that's every animal over 50. The USDA wants every animal to have a RFID chip implanted in the ears. These are costs the tiny farmer will have to incur. Many have said it will put them out of business. The NAIS program designed to put the chip in the animals they say is supposed to track disease. But it's common knowledge in the industry that it will not have any effect except to create high cost and a registry of private property. Here's the kicker... Corporations only have to pay a low price for the RFID chips for the whole herd, while the little guys have to pay a much higher price for each individual animal. Same with the Methane tax. NAIS isn't officially mandatory yet. But, by the way it's set up, in every practicality it is. I can't cease thinking about the ways to make human being immortal. So I want to look if anyone is familiar here with some of the projects I learned about. This is not a question, it's more like to look other reactions on this. 1. First I read about conscience carriers few months ago, and the most exciting thing is that many scientists are working on technology to transplant human conscience into artificial host. That host could be operational for long period of time, which means it could preserve your mind for decades. On the question about psichy damage that comes naturally trough time, they said that possibly in few years there will be technology to systematicly remove every negative segment of human conscience, which literally means that it will be possible to erase memories that are causing psychological problems. 2. Then I read about nano-devices that will be implanted in every human being like the vaccine, because of the size of those devices, in group they behave as liquid. The purpose of these are to function as next-gen of leukocytes, which literally means they will protect human body from every virus, patogens etc. It is already tested on few subjects in USA and Japan. Some say this will longer human life few decades, but for me the most exciting thing about this is the fact that it will give a fully healty life for most of the people on this planet. Resolved Question: How can I detect the presence of another specific item electronically cheaply (I can't afford a RFID reader)?

I am attempting to create a system that remotely detects another unique item electronically without having to purchase an expensive RFID tag and reader. Additionally, I believe a proximity sensor can only detect the presence of ANY item rather than a specific and unique item. I'm still figuring out what type of circuit being used in RFID Reader? LC or RLC circuit in order to generate the resonant frequency? Thank you so much again, Ecko. It's not just about denial of access to courthouses. Anything related to the Federal government is closed off to you. Not just buildings, but services. You won't be able to enter a post office or buy their stamps. It's a Federal Building. While courthouses aren't that much of a bother to most people, a common place like the post office will be. Voting Question: How to interface RFID reader to PLC?

I have a 125 kHz RFID reader and a DL05 PLC from AutomationDirect. When I read a tag, I want the PLC to know what data was read from the tag. If the code scanned is the code that is requested, then an output on the PLC should be activated. I am trying to move a stepper motor based on the data that is read. I have the ladder logic written to move the stepper motor. I just need to know how to interface the RFID reader with the PLC.
